Warriors gear for COSAFA Cup opener

THE Warriors are set to have their first training session this afternoon ahead of their COSAFA Cup opener against Comoros on Thursday afternoon.

According to the ZIFA communications department,

“After arriving in Port Elizabeth on Tuesday evening, The Warriors had an analysis meeting led by performance analyst, James Makoni, and the rest of the technical team this morning before the first training session at 3pm,” Zifa media advised.

The Warriors were drawn in Group B together with Comoros, Zambia and Kenya.

Jaioros Tapera’s men will start their campaign with a game against Comoros before they take on Zambia on Sunday.

The Warriors will round off their group games with a fixture against Kenya next Tuesday. -@innocentskizoe
