Warriors top Afcon Qualifiers Group J after Namibia win

Zimbabwe senior men’s team is now occupying the top position of the Group J 2025 Afcon Qualifiers after beating Namibia 1-0 in a match played at the Orlando Stadium, Johannesburg on Thursday afternoon.

This is the Warriors’ first win in the campaign after two consecutive goalless draws last month against Kenya and Cameroon.

Zimbabwe which now has five points moving to the top of the group is followed by Kenya with 4, Cameroon with 4 and Namibia with 0. The Warriors will host Namibia on Monday in a reverse fixture. (Online Sources)
