WATCH: 35 recruit firefighters graduate at Famona Fire Station

35 RECRUIT firefighters from six Rural District Councils (RDCs)- Tsholotsho, Hwange, Binga, Matobo, Insiza and Kusile- will graduate at Bulawayo’s Famona Fire Station on Wednesday.

The ceremony will be graced by Local Government and Public Works Minister, Daniel Garwe as the guest of honour.

Also in attendance are Bulawayo Province Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution Judith Ncube, along with the city’s Deputy Mayor Councillor Edwin Ndlovu.

The group of recruits, consisting of 26 men and nine women, underwent training with the Bulawayo Fire Brigade, renowned as a centre of excellence in firefighting and emergency response.
