A total of 497 recruit soldiers will today (Friday) graduate at Imbizo Barracks in an event that will be officiated by the Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) Commander, Lieutenant-General Emmanuel Matatu.
Of the graduands set to take to the parade square today, 121 are females.

The recruits completed a rigorous 35-week training programme covering infantry weapons handling, field-craft, minor tactics, military law, civil-military relations, and more.
Today’s ceremony is Let-Gen Matatu’s second event in Bulawayo since his ascension to the leadership of the ZNA.
His first was in May where he presided over the graduation of 489 graduands, of which 126 were females.
