A Young Zimbabwean company, Afrostain Farm Tech Limited, says the adoption of precision farming systems is critical in boosting yields, promoting agricultural exports and achieving food security across Africa.

Established five years ago, Afrostain is part of the 20 Zimbabwean companies that are exhibiting their products and services at the ongoing Global Expo Botswana 2025 in Gaborone.

Company representative at the expo, Miss Siphosenkosi Simakiwa, said increasing agricultural production and expanding entrepreneurship must be the springboard towards attainment of Vision 2030 goals.

“Achieving Vision 2030 must be anchored on a robust entrepreneurship base and food security. As Afrostain, a company that deals with precision farming technologies, we are there to assist farmers in Zimbabwe, Botswana and beyond to ensure they produce more using resources they have.
