South Africa-based Maskandi sensation FD Smile Setshitshi, real name Forward Dube, has shot his first music video for the song Asivumeni Ingoma, which afforded him several awards last year at Amaqhawanentaba FM Awards.

The song produced by Lyck D from Underground Studios, won the Song of the Year accolade at the awards.
The category was sponsored by Stanley Nyathi who is the founder of Neighbour Magazine, who promised to sponsor a music video shoot for the winner.
FD Smile Setshitshi who hails from Filabusi, said he is happy to have finally shot his first musical video in his career.
“Last week we shot the music video of Asivumeni Ingoma and the video was directed and shot by Stanley Nyathi with Amawele featuring as dancers.
“It’s a dream come true to have finally done a music video because this is the thing I always wanted but due to financial challenges it was hard for me to realise the dream.
“I am grateful that Stanley Nyathi fulfilled his promise after sponsoring the Song of the Year category at Amaqhawanentaba FM awards, as he helped me in shooting this video as the sole winner.
“I will also like to pass my gratitude to different individuals who also helped me in this project, including Nkululeko Nzimande, Sikhanyisiwe Tjali, Danisa Madlela, Fearless Emmanuel Sibanda, as well as Nobuhle Makhwelintaba Dube and Mkhipheni Tshabangu who helped us with the attire we used for the video shoot,” said FD Smile Setshitshi.
The singer, who is also part of Ontaba Kayikhonjwa Imbube ensemble said he is looking forward to releasing a full-length Extended Play (EP) this year which will feature six tracks.
As a Matabeleland son, who is looking forward to being booked by local promoters as he believes his music is mature and ready to be consumed by masses.
