The Heroes Day celebratory bash at Cosmopolitan VIP Club in Bulawayo was nothing short of pure vibes and an unforgettable experience, as headline acts South Africa’s Kelvin Momo and DJ Tease brought the house down with stellar performances.
The duo meant business, determined to celebrate the nation’s heroes alongside their fans through infectious music, energetic dance, and unbridled fun.
DJ Tease proved himself a smooth operator on the decks, impressing both loyal followers and first-time listeners with an impeccable selection of bangers. His 1 hour 30-minute set was a journey through hits such as Sengilimele, Kabza De Small’s Kadengozama, Mapaputsi’s Izinja, and the crowd-favourite Koze Kuse by DJ Merlon and Mondli Ngcobo — igniting the dance floor and setting the tone for a night that would stretch into the early hours.
Then came the man of the moment, Kelvin Momo, making his long-awaited Bulawayo debut in front of close to 2 000 ecstatic revellers. Delivering a powerful two-hour set, Momo’s performance was more than just groove; it was a soulful, almost spiritual experience, with fans singing along to most of his tracks.
The decks also saw magic from Nizhe De Soul, DJ Zandimaz, and Cosmopolitan’s resident DJs, ensuring the Heroes Day party lived up to its billing.
