ZIMBABWEAN Gospel musician Everton Mlalazi took his ministry beyond the country’s borders, delivering a powerful worship experience at the fifth edition of South Africa’s Replenishment Concert, held at Sandown High Top Field in Sandton, Johannesburg, on Saturday.

The award-winning singer featured as the international act at the star-studded gathering, which brought together some of South Africa’s leading Gospel musicians for a day of praise, worship and spiritual celebration.
Mlalazi shared the stage with an impressive line-up that included Judith Sephuma, Kabelo Mabalane, Joyous Celebration, Xolly Mncwango, Dr Tumi, Nothando Hlophe, Mmatema, Sbu Noah, Jumbo, The Jesus Collective and Khaya Mthethwa, among other performers.
The event was hosted by South African broadcaster and entrepreneur Tbo Touch, with Alphi Mkhwanazi serving as the master of ceremony.
Mlalazi’s performance provided a platform to showcase Zimbabwean Gospel music to a wider regional audience, as he ministered alongside some of the biggest names in Mzansi.
Among the songs he performed was Angeke Kulunge, a worship song whose message centres on finding completeness, peace and strength in Christ.
The song reminds believers that human imperfections and life’s challenges should not be viewed as failures, but as opportunities to rely on God’s grace and power.
He also performed Ziyamazi uMelusi, a song built around the biblical imagery of the shepherd and his sheep. It speaks about recognising and following the Good Shepherd, highlighting the importance of trusting God’s guidance, protection and leadership.
His inclusion at the concert was a significant recognition of his growing regional profile, with Tbo Touch previously describing him as the international act audiences should look forward to.
Meanwhile, the fifth edition brought together an array of established and contemporary Gospel voices, reinforcing the concert’s position as one of South Africa’s notable gospel gatherings.
Launched in 2022 by Tbo Touch, the Replenishment Concert was conceived as a platform that brings together gospel music, faith, family and community.
Over the years, it has grown into a major gathering on South Africa’s gospel entertainment calendar, attracting established musicians, worship leaders and audiences seeking an experience that goes beyond conventional musical performances.
The event was built around the idea of spiritual renewal, with its central philosophy focusing on restoring hearts, strengthening family relationships and bringing people closer to God through music and fellowship.
