Local multi-talented musician, choreographer-cum-master of ceremony (MC) – Mzoe 7, says his profile is growing in leaps and bounds as he was the main host at the Bulawayo Gospel Festival.
The extravaganza which was held on Africa Day (25 May) at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) hall 3, saw South African multi-award-winning muso Ayanda Ntanzi as the headlining act.

Local artistes who shared the stage with the Imimoya hitmaker are Mai Mamuka, Pastor Barack, Wenyasha, Vusa Mangena, Vocal X, Kira, iWorship, Siza Mdlongwa, Lorraine Maplanka-Stot amongst others.
Mzoe 7 said it was a privilege to be the main host alongside Coach M on the Gospel show which was full of bliss.

“Hosting a Gospel event was a new and different experience. The path of emceeing is a new one to me but I realised it’s natural and also requires a certain skill. I met a lot of talented gospel musicians like Mai Mamuka, Pastor Barack, Vocal X, Kira and many more.
“I got to appreciate more of the gospel fraternity and I was exposed to a whole different crowd and setup in my career. What I learnt from the festival is teamwork. The Gospel artistes really put in their time and commitment into their crafts, everything was in sync since they work as a big team on stage.
“Their image also has to be on point, I really appreciate that part as I am about branding as well. Of paramount importance, I went there to praise and worship and it was the best thing to do and the best event to pick during Africa Day, it made me draw closer to God,” said Mzoe 7.
