Watch: Nedbank Tour de Great Dyke second lap reaches Shurugwi

THE second lap of the on going Nedbank Tour de Great Dyke is now in Shurugwi after starting in Kwekwe at 7am.
From Kwekwe, the cyclists rode their bikes to Gweru where they had a brief stopover in the City of Progress.

Seasoned Bulawayo based cyclist Ralph Mthupha says all is well for now and they are now looking forward to finishing this lap before they engage in the final one that will take them from Unki Mine to Zvishavane tommorow.

“It has been a great experience and we are really happy of the favourable weather conditions we have been experiencing along the way. Our focus for now is to finish this lap as a unit before the final day tommorow,” said

Mthupha following a ride that saw them being cheered by pupils from Guinea Fowl High School and Guinea Fowl Primary School pupils who were by the road side.

After reaching Shurugwi, the cyclists will make some stopovers at some local schools where book donations are expected to be made.-@FungaiMuderere
