Watch out for ‘Worship Addicts

“prayer music”.
The series focuses on worship music that carries a presence. After years of personal and corporate worship experience in Southern Africa, about 500 songs were composed, but the distribution only started in 2011 by Takesure Zamar Ncube.
The group’s debut album, “Worship Addicts Devotional Volume 1” released in June 2011, was well received by Christians. Many pastors and church leaders have fallen in love with the music and consequently invited Zamar to minister.
There is a growing fan base in the United Kingdom and Australia where over 500 CDs have been sold, plus dozens of online downloads via worship-addicts.com, Amazon and iTunes. The group has about 3 000 fans on social networks.
The “Praise Addicts” releases are for all those who love Christian music, but most importantly it carries a unique message. It’s an alternative sound.
The first “Praise” album was released in August 2011 while “Praise Addicts Volume 2” was launched in Bulawayo in August 2012. Ncube’s music is a fusion of worship, afro-Jazz, traditional and contemporary soul.
In total, “Praise” and Worship” has sold over 5 000 CDs excluding internet distributions. The highest sales have been at Harvest House international Church which has a network of over 100 churches in major towns and cities in Zimbabwe as well as South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Australia and the UK.
The music has also sold at Apostolic Faith Mission (Bulawayo and Harare), His Presence Ministries International, Faith Ministries among others. He also ministered at the recent Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe women’s conference where many ladies confirmed their addiction to buying the CDs at the conference.
The song “Prayer for Zimbabwe”, from “Worship Addicts Devotional Volume 2” was a favourite at the national event.
Popularly known as “Minister Zamar”, Ncube was born and raised in Beitbridge. He holds a certificate in music from the Zimbabwe College of Music and has over five years experience. Ncube has shared the stage with Benjamin Dube, Keke Phoofolo and Joyous Celebration among others.
In 2011, he founded Worship Addicts, a gospel music group whose name tells it all. He releases his “individual” projects through the Praise Addicts brand. Ncube has already toured and ministered in Australia, South Africa and Swaziland.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
