Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2024, Sakhile Dube, is turning heads at the Miss Universe boot camp in Mexico with her statuesque presence, confidence, and undeniable X-Factor.
Her strong personality has shone through in a trending video circulating on social media, where she speaks about her commitment to representing Zimbabwe on a global stage.
“I want people to know my determination and my belief that our backgrounds don’t define our potential,” Dube says in the video.

“I come from Zimbabwe, and I’m here in Mexico representing Zimbabwe at Miss Universe. I want people to see what Zimbabwe has to offer the world.”
She also shared her game plan for the competition, which centers on self-improvement.
“My strategy is to work on myself, to improve. I know my strengths and weaknesses, so I’m focusing on enhancing the areas where I lack. This is something I’ve been preparing for while in Zimbabwe,” she added.
The beauty queen arrived in Mexico on Wednesday for the Miss Universe finals, scheduled for November 16 at Arena CDMX in Mexico City. Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua, the reigning Miss Universe, will crown her successor at the grand event.
