The Shangani River Bridge along the Bulawayo–Harare highway has been flooded as heavy rains continue to pound parts of Matabeleland North Province.
A traffic jam has developed at the bridge as drivers of smaller vehicles hesitate to cross for fear of being swept away, while heavier vehicles such as buses are cautiously passing through the flooded section.
