GLASS Block 2 Primary School will play host to the cluster’s track and field championships at which a team will be selected for the district finals.
On Monday one of the schools, Sikunkwe held its inter-house championships in which parents’ heavy attendance was commended by the headmistress Rorisang Sebata.
“We hope next time we will get this support, am seeing young women, who are strong, am hopefully we will all walk to cheer the kids at Glass Block 2.
“Today you showed your strength, this was sport at which you gave your best to be first. Next time we will be a school team and not inter-house fighting for pride. We will ask parents to accompany us to GB2,” said Sebata.
The schools’ athletics term is now in full swing in both urban and rural areas.
