WATCH: Swimming gala ends

THE three-day national swimming junior championships held at the Bulawayo City Pool have ended.

Young swimmers from Bulawayo Amateur Swimming Association, Midlands, Harare, Matabeleland South and Mashonaland Country Districts went through the distances in the pool, posting finishing times that have been described as an improvement from the previous years.

From morning, the swimmers got off to the finals and competition was closely between Bulawayo Amateur Swimming Association, Harare and the Midlands teams.

As the final results are being compiled, the medal presentations will follow soon.

The Bulawayo Amateur Swimming Association team is still in the lead with 1 054 points. Harare follows with 1 010 points. Midlands has 483, Mashonaland Country Districts (274) and Matabeleland South (160).
