Gweru City Council has stopped pumping water from Gwenhoro dam due to a burst water pipe, the local authority has said in a statement.
“Due to a burst pipe along the Gwenhoro main line, pumping has been temporarily halted. Our team is on-site working to rectify the issue as soon as possible,” reads part of the statement.
Updates will be provided once the issue is resolved.
