We have taken a bold stance

Editor

OUR readers today woke up to a cover page without a picture and predominantly in black and white.

It’s a decision we took yesterday to try and highlight our outrage over the continued abuse of children by adults in our country.

The story of a Macheke couple, arrested for allegedly taking turns to rape their own children, was a graphic reminder that we are drifting in the wrong direction as a people.

Our children are this country’s future and deserve to be given as fair a chance, as possible, for them to live in harmony and pursue their dreams.

We hope that our little stance, in highlighting this, will help cast some light on this shame which appears to be unfolding in different areas of our country.
