“We need you”: Black Diva urges music legend Majaivana to come home

Musician and social media content creator Leslie Muleya, popularly known as Black Diva, has joined the growing chorus of voices urging music legend Lovemore Majaivana to return home.

Lovemore Majaivana relocated to the United States in 2000, and over the years, fans have repeatedly called for his return to Zimbabwe, with many hoping he will stage a major performance, especially at Barbourfields Stadium.

Taking to her Facebook page, Black Diva shared an emotional tribute, describing Lovemore Majaivana as both a music legend and a father figure.


“My Legend, my Hero, I love you Dad. Ngisayiqhuba lamanje indima owasisungulela yona washesha waphosela ithawulo. We need you, please come back, Lovemore Majaivana,” she wrote.

Her message conveys a profound sense of longing and admiration for the veteran artiste’s contribution to Zimbabwean music, while urging his return. Black Diva’s sentiments reflect those of many Zimbabweans, particularly in Matabeleland, where

Lovemore Majaivana remains a cultural icon whose music continues to inspire generations.
