The festive season is a time of merriment and for the citya��s clubs and nightspots, a time to make money as revellers are in the mood to part with their hard earned money.
While other clubs have long put their stalls out in preparation for the season of plenty, a new joint, Connect, is looking to upset the applecart by opening its doors next Friday.
While Bulawayo is known for its frenzied party atmosphere that ratchets up a notch further in the festive season the new joint, located at Cecil Hotel, promises to tone things down and give revellers a place where they can party with style.
The joint will open only on Fridays and Saturdays.
a�?People want to party but not everyone wants to party the same way. While others prefer those places where they party up a storm all night without care others prefer joints where they can have a good time in a cool, calm and mature manner. Connect will be more of the latter than the former,a�? said the new jointa��s owner Biggie Chinoperekwei.
Promising a classy environment free from the bustles of an ordinary everyday club, the joint will probably present a nice variety for party lovers during the month of December when most nightspots are full to the brim.
In addition to a nice, relaxed atmosphere, Chinoperekwei promised that the joint would have a top notch selection of DJs capable of playing music that is in line with the cluba��s environment.
