Arthur Evans ropes in celebs for charity drive

While the glitz and glamour of celebrity life might take some well known figuresa�� minds away from the poverty and suffering in their communities, this is not so for MC, TV and radio personality Arthur Evans who is embarking on a charity drive in three African countries.

Evansa��s campaign is focused on Zimbabwe, Zambia and South Africa, while he will also go to the capital Harare in addition to his work in the City of Kings during what he has dubbed a�?The Remember Campaigna�?.

The Remember Campaign is an initiative and brainchild of Arthur C. Evans that is being spearheaded to raise awareness among individuals and communities, urging them to remember the under privileged, especially children, every festive season.

a�?The campaign started on the 5th of December when I travelled to Lusaka, Zambia before I move on to Johannesburg in South Africa as well as Harare. The activities for this campaign include photo shoots with different personalities and appearances that will help to generate an awareness that will hopefully lead to tangible benefits being forwarded to various charities and initiatives in Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa,a�? said Evans.

The photo-ops with celebrities in Zambia and South Africa will form the basis of Evansa�� campaign, which has seen him already adopt Emthunzini Childrena��s home as his charity of choice locally.

In Zambia Evans teamed up with the Zambian sensation Television and Radio Personality from Q FM Caristo Lupupa Chitamfya, Mwewa Lwimba a fashion designer and life coach and other well-known celebrities and socialites, captains of industry to kick start the campaign.
