Wellness coach dreams to emancipate young people

Chitungwiza-based wellness coach Takunda Patsika dreams of emancipating young people from drug and substance abuse through fitness training.

The 23-year-old is fighting idleness among youths through his initiative.

“Fitness is something that I grew up liking and I dreamt to help people to live a healthy and fit lifestyle.

“It is also my dream to help those who are abusing drugs and substances.

“This inspired me because I saw some youths perishing and I opened this fitness club to encompass several youths,” he said.

Patsika said he has been working with over 20 youths.

“We do fitness, we help people gain or lose weight and we also help athletes to build a strong mind physical fitness, and more.

“We are professional wellness coaches and I started this early last year where I have engaged more than 20 youths.

“We have been working with some ministries.

“It is my dream to see youths living healthy and free drug life.”
