MDC president Professor Weshman Ncube has accepted the heavy defeat his party suffered in the harmonised elections last week and says he is now focusing on trying his luck again in the 2018 elections.
Prof Ncube only managed around three percent of the presidential vote with his party gaining only two national assembly seats and two senate seats as a result of proportional representation system.
Addressing his party’s losing candidates in Bulawayo today, Professor Ncube said he will not pursue any court action or lobby regional bodies to call for the nullifications of the poll results.
