Wendall breaks five-year jinx

done it in season five of Big Brother Amplified after one of our housemates Wendall Parson clinched the grand prize of US$200 000.
It was a sweet victory which healed wounds of yesteryear when we felt cheated in the last season of Big Brother All Stars when Munyaradzi “The Diamond Boy” Chidzonga lost in the last minute to Nigeria’s Uti Nwachukwu.

But that is now history and now we have to congratulate Wendall for staying true to himself and keeping the Zimbabwean pride alive.
I watched the show live on DStv’s Channel 198 and I felt sorry for South Africa’s Luclay who got the shock of his life when IK, the host of the show, announced that he had lost on the finishing line.
How sad? I remember Big Brother fans felt the same way last year and at one point, I would admit it, I never thought I would write anything to do with the reality series again.

However, on Sunday, the tables were turned and Wendall finally broke the five-year jinx.
I heard some people saying that it was just the “white boy mentality” that made Africa to vote for Wendall but I beg to differ.

There is nothing like that but perhaps the issue was about M-Net silencing Zimbabweans following Munya’s debacle.
Quite honestly, I think it was a real win for Wendall because looking back at the show, the dude put up a good show and represented Zimbabwe well.

I know this is a hot subject on your end. From someone who has encountered one of the UFI members, the card when scratched reveals Econet, NetOne and Telecel numbers which are then used to contact not Makandiwa, but the spirit. I do not know how far true this is.

It seems all the who is who including some ministers, one from MDC-T, is rumoured to have bought cards for the whole year have these cards.
My question remains: “Are we putting our trust and faith in the man of God, when we are supposed to be speaking to God only.”
Is it ethical for the man of God to be involved in businesses? This is a topic that needs discussion otherwise, we are going to perish for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). Just wanted to share with you. – Anonymous.

I am enquiring if ZBCTV still doing Prime Gospel Show, the reason being that there is Mai Chisamba Show after news on Sunday. I would be really grateful if you can give that information. – Gamuchirai.
Note: ZBCTV still airs Prime Gospel Show on Sunday though rather late, maybe there is need for a change in programming maybe the musical programme should have a prime time slot like the name suggests.
