SCOTTLAND have emerged as an unstoppable force in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League, mounting a big challenge against defending champions Simba Bhora.
Their seven-game winning streak shows how brutal they have been to achieve the mission.
And that they have netted 16 goals in their last seven league fixtures speaks volumes about their capabilities when it matters.
Yet coach Tonderai Ndiraya insists they have their own goals to keep and not the Simba Bhora chase.
“If we lose our focus and start focusing on them, then we will lose the plot,” said Ndiraya.
He was speaking after their convincing 3-1 win over Herentals at Rufaro on Saturday.
That result means they are still a point behind Simba who were 3-1 winners over Kwekwe United at Wadzanai on the same day.
At Rufaro, Knowledge Musona was on target along with Tymon Machope and Terrence Dzvukamanja.
Herentals join the list of clubs in the top eight that Scottland have made a mockery of, including FC Platinum who suffered a 5-2 defeat.
“What we want is to keep getting points, keep notching points on the board. We are good as we are, it’s actually us putting pressure on Simba.”
