PROGRESS Chipfumo’s handlers say they are grateful to their loyal fans who are very supportive.

The Sounds of the Motherland camp revealed it was content with what it gets during live shows.

Speaking to H-Metro, Sounds of Motherland manager, Junior Chipfumo, said:

“We are a big brand that has managed to stand the test of time.

“We are not that ambitious but we are just grateful to our fans who have been loyal to us over the years.

“We saw their loyalty on lockdown and the same support is evident now during our shows.”

Junior said they have lined up a series of shows before year-end as a way of thanking their fans.

“This Friday we are performing at Hub 24 Pub & Grill in Dzivaresekwa 2 and on Saturday we are holding another gig at Miami Nite Club in Sunningdale.

“We are grateful to our fans as we launch our countrywide tour, which begins in Harare.

“Afterwards, we will tour other parts of the country.

“We survive on shows and there is no way we can afford to rest.”

Junior said his camp was ready to release new music ahead of the festive season.

“We can’t afford to miss out on the festive season and I can assure our fans that a series of shows have been lined up as well as new productions.

“It has always been our norm that we always give fans something fresh all the time,” he added.
