WEST End Hospital Casualty Department has been temporarily closed, until further notice.

In a statement, Premier Service Medical Investments (PSMI) (Pvt) Ltd said the closure is due to internal processes currently underway.

“However, during this transitory, we shall remain committed to our mandate as we continue to fully care for our patients admitted in the hospital.

“PSMI would like to take this opportunity to share our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused,” read the statement.

Sources told H-Metro that patients who were admitted at the institution had been taken to Avenues Clinic and Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals.

“Currently, there are no patients admitted as we have closed.

“Staff have stopped coming to work because we are not being paid.

“Once we receive our money, we will go back to work,” he said.
