WestProp Holdings breaks ground on Radisson-branded aparthotel

WestProp Holdings has begun construction on a three-storey Radisson-branded aparthotel in Harare, thereby marking a significant milestone in the company’s “billion brick” vision to transform Zimbabwe’s urban landscape.

The company’s CEO, Mr Kenny Sharpe said the project demonstrates their commitment to delivering world-class infrastructure while building Zimbabwe for future generations.

“We are proud to say we are well on our way on the billion brick journey as we aim for a billion bricks by 2025,” said Mr Sharpe.

“Currently, we have reached 87 million bricks.”

Vice President of Development at Radisson Hotel Group, Mr Ramsay Rankoussi emphasised the company’s confidence in Zimbabwe’s economic potential and pledged to deepen investment in the country.

“This project represents our long-term commitment to Zimbabwe’s future. We see strong growth opportunities here and are ready to be part of that journey,” he said.

Mr Rankoussi highlighted that the investment is part of a broader strategy to expand the group’s footprint in Africa, with Zimbabwe holding a strategic position in the company’s growth plan.
