Ita��s yet another weekend and the cooler temperatures prevailing in the City of Kings will no doubt entice more revellers to get a taste of the citya��s ever exciting night life.
With no major performers expected in Bulawayo the burden falls on the citya��s musicians, DJs and dancers to provide the bulk of the entertainment and excitement this weekend.
Below is what you can expect at various entertainment joints in and around the city.
Private Lounge
On Friday the cluba��s alluring dancers will entertain revellers while the same mouth watering performances from the strippers can be expected on Saturday and Sunday.
Club Eden (Ascot Racecourse)
Resident DJs will take revellers down a musical roller coaster with a mix of dancehall, hip-hop and house jams during the Black Bottle Fridays. The trio of Kananjo, Slamma and Kead Wikead return to entertain patrons again on Saturday.
New Emagumeni
On Friday night the bubbly MaTing ting will host the Ladies Night. On Saturday night revellers will be on the decks to entertain revellers during another fun-filled night. DJ DNice Mavala will draw the weekend to a close with Sundaya��s Stokvel Night.
T-Junction Sports Bar (New Lobengula)
The weekend is set to start off on a high note with the Funky Friday party sessions. On Saturday Mavesto, Houzen and Buthoz and Kasi Vibez DJs will be on the decks for the Kasi Flavour Nights. The Old School Party session on Sunday with the resident DJs will bring the weekend to a close.
The Lounge
DJs Jaiza and Keezy will set the tone for the weekend with a mix of old and new songs from various genres during the Weekend Warm-up party while Jaiza and DJ Cris Rocx take centre stage on Saturday. Iyasa will combine with DJ Kananjo and Jaiza to provide the best in African music and dance on Sunday night.
Katso Sports Bar (Luveve koChigumira)
House and dancehall lovers will be treated to the best in both genres during Fridaya��s Woza Friday party. DJ Mgoe will be supported by guest performers as she takes of the decks during the Saturday Mix while patrons will be taken back into time with a mixture of old school house, kwaito and Ra��na��B on Sunday.
ZITF Show Grounds
The Police Commissionera��s annual funfair that had initially been scheduled for July will now take place on Saturday afternoon at the show grounds. Sandra Ndebele, Iyasa, Jeys Marabini and Clement Magwaza are some of the musicians that will take part in this yeara��s festivities.
Ace Lounge
DJ Khumz will entertain revellers alongside New Age dance group on Friday night. Khumz returns again on Saturday night but this time alongside Hlokoloza dance group. Bulawayo Queens and DJ Simple Studio wrap up festivities at the joint on Saturday night.
