LIES, lies, lies . . .
A man from Cowdray Park is in a dilemma after being fooled by a married woman into believing that she was single and available.
Andrew Wilson is now kicking himself for falling into Simangele Tshumaas trap. During their heydays he had a lot of questions, but unfortunately was blinded by love and never paid much attention to them.
After two months of dating and allegedly spending a lot of money on the woman, Wilson then got the shock of his life when he discovered that Tshuma was married.
a?Tshuma was my childhood girlfriend 10 years ago and it happened that we met in town sometime in June.
a?We then shared our stories and I told her that I was a divorcee and she also claimed she was a single mother.
a?I proposed love to her and she accepted,a? said Wilson.
As a way of expressing his love, the man allegedly bought his newly found love clothes and they at times spent days together.
Despite promising each other to take their relationship to the next level, Tshuma refused to show Wilson where she stayed, raising eyebrows.
a?Tshuma refused to show me where she lived though she always came for two to three days at my place.
a?One day I then realised she was wearing a ring and when I asked her about it, she just said it was a fashion ring,a? he said.
The truth came out when Tshuma stole Wilsonas phone, power bank and $12 when he left her home alone.
After the incident, Tshuma always gave excuses and didnat meet until the day Wilson reported the matter to the police.
a?Police using her contact numbers, managed to track her down and she was arrested.
a?When we were at the police station, she then revealed that she was married to Mandla Ndimande and asked for forgiveness saying she was forced to lie to me because she just needed a man to take care of her as her husband was irresponsible,a? said the visibly heartbroken Wilson.
Tshuma confirmed the reports.
a?Please forgive me because if my husband discovers about the incident he will kill me.
a?After all Wilson is lying, he knew that I was a married woman and I admitAA that I cheated on my husband. Please forgive me, you are also a woman,a? she said.
The matter was resolved at the police station and Wilson got his stolen items back.
