After taking a sabbatical for five years, focusing on their personal lives, all-female Hip-hop ensemble, Whin Quins has decided to make a return to the game.
Previously, the group was made up of three members. However, this time around the 2017 Outstanding Dance category winners at the Changamire Hip-hop Awards, will comprise two members — Queen Tasha and Noreen Moria.
Blaq Diva Quin, who is based in South Africa, is focusing on her solo career.
Noreen Moria said they were back for more.
“We have decided to revive the crew by uniting once more, creating a duo. We took a break a few years back to focus on education and other stuff in life. We believe that we have starved our fans enough and we are ready to return to the game, as we are now mature.
“The current setup will comprise me and Quin Tasha, Diva is currently in Mzansi, where she is also doing well in her solo career. People must brace up and watch the space as we will release new music in April,” said Noreen Moria.
Quin Tasha, who is now a mother, said she wanted to be a good example to her daughter, as she vowed to make their return to the game work.
“I have always been passionate about music and dancing from a tender age. We created this movement when we were young and that reflected on how ambitious we were. We still have the same spirit and I believe this time around it will work because we have matured. I am a mother now and I think it’s time I live up to my expectations and follow my dreams and be a good mom to my daughter,” said Quin Tasha.
