Who is Chief Nkulumane Masuku?

CHIEF Nkulumane Masuku who was inaugurated into the Nzula chieftaincy yesterday was born on 18 February 1977 at Mpilo Central Hospital in Bulawayo.

His father was Malaki Masuku who died on 25 May 2016.

His mother is Jester Nkomo.

For his primary education, he attended the following schools in Bulawayo: Nkulumane Primary School in Mpopoma (1984-1988; Mtshane Primary School (1988-1989) and Nduna Primary School in Natisa, Matobo District (1990).

He proceeded to do secondary education at Whitewater Secondary School (1991-1994).

After obtaining O-levels, he went to work for the Bulawayo City Council as a welder from 1996 to 1997.

 

Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA)

After that he enlisted with the Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) and was based at the Army Headquarters in Harare.

He later relocated to HQ 1 Brigade in Bulawayo.

After leaving the army, he was engaged in self-employment.

In 2001 he married Thandiwe Ndlovu and they have five children; two boys and three girls.

The eldest son is Lloyd and he is 15 years old.

The other son is Ntandoyenkosi.

The three girls are Cindrella, Nonsikelelo and Janet. (See also page 11)
