The world is fast changing; the unexpected has become our daily bread. The question is where have we gone wrong for our earthly shepherds to go astray? Churches are now the devil’s workshop and our shepherds who are supposed to lead us closer to God now unite us with the devil.
Is it that we are now roaring back to the days of Sodom and Gomorra where God had given up on them? I suppose not.
It all feels like a nightmare, like a dark cloud has befallen us. What makes it worse is that the people who are supposed to guard us have gone astray.
Our earthly shepherds give way to their sexual desires that they now feast on us, our mothers and sisters.
Our brothers are not safe either as some men of the cloth rape boys and young men.
It pains us to know that churches are no longer safe. Even when nothing bad happens there many people are now using them as a fast way to make money.
Many of the pastors are telling us about getting rich without talking about preparing our souls for judgment day. And the most important lessons seem to be about giving the prophets money so that you buy God’s blessing.
These actions by our earthly shepherds are tarnishing the image of other churches.
Followers no longer feels safe around their shepherds, they fear they might turn out to be a wolves in sheep’s skin.
We can’t just fold our hands and watch. Let us take action against this evil act. Create awareness to enlighten some who are thinking its Godly. Let the Government give stiff penalties to those leaders found guilty of violating women.
Let us work hand in hand to ensure that churches are places for communal worshipping of God, nothing else.
