A CLOUD of suspicion hovers over the tragic car accident that claimed the life of Mr Albert Tandaude, as his widow, Mrs Cathrine Tandaude, raises troubling questions about the circumstances leading to her husband’s untimely demise. Mr Tandaude, while initially surviving the accident, eventually succumbed to his injuries, leaving behind a grieving family and a community seeking answers.

In a heartfelt plea for justice, Mrs Tandaude has come forward with allegations that her husband may have been targeted by supporters of the ruling Zanu-PF party due to his involvement in opposition politics. Expressing her concerns and suspicions, she stated, “I fear that my husband was deliberately harmed for his political beliefs. I will not rest until the truth behind his tragic accident is revealed.”

Adding to the distressing situation, Mrs. Tandaude revealed that her inquiries into the accident were met with hostility from Mr. Tandaude’s own family members, who hold significant positions within the ruling party’s organs in Chiweshe. She recounted how her attempts to obtain her husband’s death certificate were thwarted, and she faced threats and intimidation when seeking clarity on the circumstances surrounding the accident.

“I feel harassed and threatened because I am demanding answers and justice for my husband,” Mrs. Tandaude declared defiantly. Despite facing obstacles and resistance in her pursuit of the truth, she remains resolute in her quest for an inquest to uncover the full details of the accident and the events leading up to it.

As the community mourns the loss of Mr. Tandaude and stands in solidarity with his bereaved family, calls for transparency and accountability in investigating the accident grow louder. Mrs. Tandaude’s unwavering determination to seek justice serves as a reminder of the need to uphold the rule of law and ensure that all individuals, regardless of their political affiliations, are entitled to a fair and impartial investigation into tragic incidents such as this.
