SCORES of men have gathered at KoSamuriwo Pub and Grill in Luveve, Bulawayo, for a Men’s Conference aimed at encouraging open discussions on personal growth, leadership, relationships and challenges affecting men in their daily lives.

Minister of State for Bulawayo Provincial Affairs and Devolution Judith Ncube is the guest of honour and is expected to address participants on responsible leadership.

The conference has brought together men from different generations, with participants taking turns to share personal experiences and perspectives on marriage, mental health, finances, family responsibilities and their roles in the community.

Organisers said the event seeks to create a safe and non-judgmental space where men can openly discuss issues that are often difficult to address.

Discussions so far have focused on some of the factors contributing to divorce, suicide among men and unhappy marriages, with participants emphasising the need for honest conversations rather than assigning blame to women.
