A HARARE woman has sensationally claimed that her husband is in the habit of using her clothes as his toilet tissues.
Rudo Takalumusi made the revelations at the Harare Civil Court where she was seeking a protection order against her husband Ernest Musawa. Rudo told the court that Ernest takes her clothes each time he has to use the toilet.
“He takes my clothes to wipe off his mess after using the bathroom. He is in the habit of urinating on my clothes and he threatens to kill me so that he ends up in jail.”
Ernest denied the allegations saying he has never used his wife’s clothes as toilet tissues.
“I have never used my wife’s clothes as tissues and I think she takes her own clothes and throws them in the bucket where she urinates at night.
“I once saw her clothes in that bucket of urine.”
Magistrate Meenal Naratom granted Rudo’s request.
She also ordered the couple to resolve their differences and find ways of living in peace.
