Wife burns soccer stara��s belongings for alleged infidelity

Former Highlanders and FC Platinum creative midfielder, Welcome a�?Waroowaa�? Ndiweni had his belongings burnt to ashes early this week by his wife Lily a�?Sweet facea�? Banda for allegedlyA� impregnating a a�?small housea�?.

Ndiweni and Banda are customarily married and they reside together in Bulawayoa��s high density suburb of Mpopoma.

a�?After learning that her husband had allegedly impregnated another woman who resides in Makokoba, Banda lost her cool and burnt a number of Ndiwenia��s belongings including his training kit and football boots,a�? said a source.

Ndiweni plays for Bulawayo City FC but has been out of action for the past few weeks owing to a nagging ankle injury.

Another source from the Bulawayo City FC camp added that the ginger haired player missed the teama��s Tuesday work out session as he had no training equipment to use.

a�?Ita��s true that he has not been making it into the 18-member squad owing to an ankle injury. But on Tuesday he did not train because his training attire was burnt to ashes by his wife,a�? said another source.

Contacted for comment the couple, who seemed to have ironed out their differences, professed ignorance on their alleged domestic dispute.

a�?There is nothing like thata��My wife is here with me. I have never had marital problems of late besides the ankle injury. You have just made my day,a�? laughed Ndiweni sarcastically.

Banda weighed in and said: a�?Balamanga Abantu . (People are lying). We are a happy couple and I never did anything to my husband,a�? she said.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday our sister paper, H-Metro, reported that Dynamos striker Rodrick Mutumaa��s property and belongings were looted from his house by his estranged wifea��s messengers resulting in the player making a police report.A� Early last year, we reported that ex Highlanders forward Knox Mutizwa suffered severe burns on his back after an altercation with his wife at his home in Bulawayoa��s Pelandaba suburb.
