A 14-YEAR-OLD marriage has crumbled after a woman found a sex tape of her husband, engaging in intimate acts, with her blood sister.

This led to a violent confrontation resulting in the husband physically assaulting his wife and throwing her out of their South African home.

Abigail Jasi appeared before Harare Civil Court seeking a protection order against her estranged husband, Malcom Moto, whom she said continues to harass and threaten her.

“I felt betrayed not only by my husband but also by my own sister,” she said, fighting back tears.

“I was shattered when I discovered explicit sex tapes and photos of my husband’s infidelity. Instead of apologising, he turned violent, physically assaulting me and throwing me out of our home in South Africa.

“I was forced to sleep on the streets with my children. Fearing for my life and the safety of my children, I decided to escape the toxic marriage and rebuild my life back home in Zimbabwe.”

She claimed that Malcom has a history of abuse and infidelity but she stayed in the marriage, hoping to provide stability for her children.

“I realised I was putting myself and my children in danger by staying with him. I had to break from the marriage. Malcom followed me back home on January 17, harassing and threatening me to return his children.”

In response, Malcom agreed that he had wronged his wife but wanted his family back.

“I wronged my wife but I cannot let our 14-year-old marriage go to waste. All l want is to live peacefully with my family but she ran away with the children on December 3, last year. She does not allow me to talk to my children, she even blocked me. I love my wife so much and l am sorry for what l did,” he said.

Magistrate Meenal Naratom granted Abigal a protection order, advising the husband to stay away from his estranged wife.

She also urged Malcom to take the matter to the Children’s Court to determine who has the right to stay with the kids.
