WILL issa SADIKI’S LUCKY CHARM SAVE GENESIS?

DYNAMOS winger, Issa Sadiki, loves scoring against CAPS United.

He was not in action when DeMbare stumbled to a 1-1 draw against Herentals at Rufaro on Sunday due to injury.

But he started training on Tuesday.

Sadiki introduced himself when Dynamos thrashed CAPS United 3-0 in what was his first start for the Glamour Boys, two seasons ago.

His second goal for Dynamos came against the same opponents last season when he scored a brilliant free kick which gave ‘keeper, Tonderai Mateyaunga, no chance.

Dynamos were also triumphant on that day as they registered a 2-0 victory to eliminate CAPS United in the Chibuku Super Cup.

He could be the lucky charm coach Genesis Mangombe needs for victory on Sunday.

“We are doing everything right but our strikers are letting us down, the finishing touch is lacking and once we get that right, all will be well,” said Mangombe.

“We are playing a derby and it means it will be another chance for our boys to shine, derbies are more about bragging rights and we have to take our chances.

“The boys know what is at stake and they know what is needed for us to get where we belong, we need to try our best to create as many chances as possible for us to win this match.”

Tanaka Shandirwa also returned after missing four games due to an ankle injury.

Captain Frank Makarati is also on the recovery path but there is a growing belief that he might be available for selection.

Goalkeeper, Martin Mapisa, was also at the stands last weekend battling with an injury he picked against Chicken Inn.
