He has been hailed at the top of his game as an actor and musician. Now 45-year-old “Men In Black” actor Will Smith is honing his golf game, as he was pictured playing enthusiastically at the Calabasas Country Club with friends in LA on Saturday.
The Academy Award nominated actor looked like he was in his element as he practised his golf swing, even bypassing the option of a golf caddy and carrying his bag of heavy golf clubs around the sprawling course by himself.
Dressed in a red Lycra golfing T-shirt and grey trousers the “Seven Pounds” actor looked animated as he swung his club around the course.
THe actor and musician was really dapper.
Professional Northern Irish golfer Rory McIlroy even credited the “After Earth” actor as being up to his standard when he met him in Dubai in January, tweeting:
“Met the fresh prince aka Will Smith today at the golf course!
“Great guy and a good golf swing!”
Will has been busy with work in recent months, with his latest movie “A Winter’s Tale” – also starring Colin Farrell, Jessica Brown Findlay, Jennifer Connelly and Russell Crowe – released last month.
The supernatural drama based on the 1983 novel of the same name by Mark Helprin, saw the star portray Lucifer, the devil.
The former Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star finished shooting romantic comedy-drama “Focus” alongside “The Wolf Of Wall Street” leading lady Margot Robbie earlier this week, with the movie scheduled for release in February 2015.
“Focus” tells the tale of Nicky Spurgeon, played by Smith, a professional con artist who takes a young, attractive woman under his wing – with the pair enjoying a romantic liaison of complicated proportions.
But Will and his talented young son, Jaden Smith, 15, suffered disappointment last month when they were named Worst Screen Combo at the Razzie Awards last month.
Undoubtedly the only event during awards season that Hollywood actors, directors and producers dread winning, the father-son duo unfortunately also took home Worst Actor and Worst Supporting Actor. – Daily Mail.
