WILL YADAH PILE ON THE PRESSURE ON DEMBARE?

WILL Yadah heap more misery on struggling Dynamos at Rufaro this afternoon?

The two clubs clash in a Chibuku Super Cup quarter-final match which the Glamour Boys simply can’t afford to lose.

DeMbare have lost their way badly since crashing out of the CAF Confederation Cup when everything appeared in their favour for them to progress.

They have since lost to CAPS United and Chicken Inn at Rufaro and won just one of their last four games.

The poor run has torched problems in their camp with some fans starting an online campaign to boycott the club’s matches and fight to oust board chairman Bernard Marriot. They claim their club is now barely recognisable as the real Glamour Boys.

Yadah coach, Thomas Ruzive, is not interested in the politics at DeMbare and is confident they can win this battle.

”As we approach the upcoming game, our team is focused and prepared for the challenge ahead. We are determined to come out victorious and show our strength as a team.

“Even though Dynamos may not be performing at their best, we are aware of their reputation as a big brand in the league. This only fuels our motivation to come out stronger and showcase our skills and determination to win.

“We understand that Cup games present different challenges compared to league games, but we are well prepared and geared up for whatever obstacles that may come our way.

“Our team has put in the necessary work and training to ensure that we are ready to give our all on the field.”

Yadah will be without midfielder Tafadzwa Rusike and winger Terrence Maguranyanga who are out of injuries.

“We have a few injuries to some of our key players. But the biggest question is the availability of Billiat, he was with the Warriors.

“We are yet to see if he will have an early or late arrival. If he arrives in good shape and gets a nod from our medical team we would want him to have a role in the game.”
