Williams, Follet-Smith best ranked

ZIMBABWEAN golfers Mark Williams and Ben Follet-Smith are currently the best ranked players on the Sunshine Tour and Big Easy Tour order of merit standings.

The two are placed on position 44 and 26 respectively with Williams on R144 625 earnings in the 2018-19 season having played 13 tournaments.

South Africa-based 34-year-old Williams has so far managed to make the cut in ten events missing out on three occasions.

Williams also took part in the Vodacom Pro-am which he also made the cut and came out third, which is his best finish so far this season although he only pocketed R5 000 for his efforts and gaining only three points.

The other notables on the Sunshine Tour are Ryan Cairns (65) with earnings of R106 050 as well as Follet-Smith in 79th place and Marc Cayeux who is a slot below on 80.

Follet-Smith managed to pocket R73 320 in the Southern Africa’s’ biggest Tour while Cayeux sits on R70 427.
