HARARE is bracing for a high-octane musical showdown this weekend as Zimdancehall heavyweight Winky D headlines the second edition of the Tête-à-Tête concert on Saturday.
The concert is shaping up to be one of the capital’s biggest musical gatherings of the weekend, with a star-studded line-up expected to draw fans from across the city and beyond.

Joining Winky D on stage will be a diverse mix of Zimdancehall and hip-hop talent, including Enzo Ishall, Nisha TS, Xiba, Jnr Spragga, Runna Rulez, Hulegende, Culture Love, Bling 4, DJ Fistroy, Don Family and DJ Fujee/Tats. Radio personality KVG, alongside Merciless Zim and Gully, will keep the energy flowing as masters of ceremony for the show, which is scheduled to begin at 6pm.
With Winky D at the centre of the line-up, anticipation has been building around the concert, with organisers saying preparations are moving at pace ahead of the event.

Harris Entertainment director Tonderai Byron Rice said the stage and other key infrastructure were nearing completion, while ticket sales were also gathering momentum.
“The massive preparations are underway. The stage is almost done. The barricading is almost done. The tickets are almost 50% gone. People should come in their numbers and enjoy as we welcome the summer season,” said Rice.
