Winning debut for Zim duo in Zambia

THE Zimbabwean pair of Kelvin Moyo and Gilroy Chimwemwe marked their arrival in the Zambian topflight league in style by inspiring Nkana FC to a 4-0 demolition of Young Green Eagles in a league match on Sunday.

The duo joined the Zambian side that is 12th in an 18-team league on Saturday, and Moyo said reported to have signed a six-month contract.

Details were unavailable for Chimwemwe’s contract, a player who joined Nkana from league competitors BuildCon.

By joining Nkana, which is coached by former Highlanders gaffer Kelvin Kaindu, the pair will be afforded an opportunity to market themselves on the continental scene as their club is competing in the Caf Confederation Cup. – @ZililoR
