RADIO personality Tilder Moyo says she has been blown away by the StarFM management’s decision to pay tribute to her for her work at the radio station.
Radio presenters aired some of the audio clips that made Tilder, who is popularly known as Tete Tilder, a household name in the country.
A number of listeners thronged the radio station to meet her, pose for some photographs with her and some even handed her gifts.
Some musicians, who included gospel gurus Charles and Olivia Charamba, Michael Mahendere and Feli Nandi, visited the radio station to pay tribute to Tilder.
“I feel humbled by the appreciation accorded to me by the station.
“This is my first time to get such an appreciation and I believe God is in control.
“Thank you StarFM, thank you listeners and thank you our stakeholders for the support, it rejuvenates me and gives me a sense of responsibility.
“It was amazing to hear the impact of my work among our listeners and the community at large,” said Tilder.
Station manager Comfort Mbofana presented a flower bouquet and her workmates presented a cake in honour of Tete Tilder.
Tilder has been a broadcaster since 1986 and joined StarFM in October 2013.
Her Sunday morning and Tuesday evening programmes have made her an iconic name in broadcasting.
