A WOMAN asked the court to kick out her ex-husband’s girlfriend saying she didn’t feel comfortable being in the same room with her.
Tinotenda Dzingai made the request after taking her ex-husband, Farai Kombora, to court demanding maintenance for their two children.
Magistrate Sharon Mashavira turned down Tinotenda’s request.
She said anyone was free to attend court proceedings and she had no power to kick a person out of the court unless the law demanded that.
Tinotenda demanded US$240 in maintenance for their two children.

“He works at ZIMASCO in Kwekwe as a mechanic earning a lot of money, but he is neglecting his kids because he was bewitched by this girlfriend of his sitting here in court.
“l have no proof of his earnings, but I am willing to approach his employer,” Tinotenda said.
Farai told the court that he is currently out of work after leaving ZIMASCO six months ago.
“She is crazy because she thinks we are going to get back together. “I earn US$170 and l am offering US$70 and 50 percent school fees.”
Magistrate Mashivira ordered the two to return to court on April 17, after Tinotenda obtained Farai’s payslip from ZIMASCO.
