A woman is at loggerheads with her husband whom she accused of having his girlfriend’s images as his Facebook and WhatsApp profile pictures, the Harare Civil Court heard last week.
Geogina Jana claimed Clive Masiko was in the habit of receiving phone calls from his girlfriend in her presence.
Jana was seeking a protection order against Masiko whom she also accused of emotionally and verbally abusing her.
“We are always quarrelling because he is in the habit of putting his girlfriend’s images as his Facebook and WhatsApp profile pictures which is a disgrace to me.’’
Jana told the magistrate Ms Audrey Tarugarira that Masiko was also in the habit of discussing her with his girlfriend on the phone.
“I want this honourable court to grant my application because I am sick and tired of being verbally and emotionally abused by this man. To make matters worse he always accuses me of having an extra-marital affair and using juju on him,” said Jana. said.
Ms Tarugarira granted the order by consent which barred Masiko from emotionally or verbally abusing Jana.
