Woman fined for bashing love rival

A GWANDA woman who gave her husband’s lover a thorough beating for bragging about their extra-marital affair has been fined $50 for taking the law into her own hands.
Sakhile Makilimani, 37, of Hlalani Kuhle houses in Gwanda Town was bashed by the man’s wife, Sibonisiwe Ncube, 31, of Ultra High for bragging about sleeping with her husband. Ncube pleaded not guilty to assault charges when she appeared before magistrate Sheila Nazombe.

Ncube admitted assaulting Makilimani using her hands but denied ever using any weapon as was alleged by the State.
