A woman has won a peace order in the Harare Civil Court against her ex-husband who was in the habit of visiting her home at night demanding to know her whereabouts.
Precious Mamura told Harare magistrate Ms Sharon Mashavire that Isaiah was invading her privacy. He is in the habit of visiting my place of residence during odd hours asking to see children,” she said.
Precious said whenever Isaiah visited her house he insulted her with obscene words, entered in her house “destroying my properties”.
“I want the court to bar him from coming to my place of residence because he is very violent,” she said. “If he wants to see his children, he must come and see them during the day”
Isaiah denied the allegations, saying: “I visit her place of residence during month ends only to give her some basic needs for the children.”
Ms Mashavire granted the peace order which barred Isaiah from verbally abusing Precious, and to keep peace towards her at all times.
