AN irate woman dragged her ex-husband to court demanding US$300 school fees for their son.

Nyembesi Tadyirakumunda told the court she just wants her ex-husband, Antony Kuboya, to pay their son’s fees, and she will take care of the rest.

“He stopped paying fees a long time ago, accusing me of not thanking his current wife for the money, and the fees are  now in arrears,” said Nyembesi.

“I want him to pay fees only and I will do the rest.

“He wants me to place him at a different school, but he was placed by the Government, since he has issues with hearing and speech.

Antony offered to pay US$150 claiming he does not earn much since he is a kombi driver.

“The money she is demanding is too much,” Antony said.

Magistrate Ayanda Dhlamini granted Nyembesi her demands and ordered Antony to also pay all the outstanding fees.
