AN Eastview woman has been granted a protection order against a woman she claims has been stalking her.

She said the woman suspects she is dating her husband.

Nyarai Botomani accused Lavender Kanhamu of stalking and assaulting her.

“Nyarai grabbed and tied me up before assaulting me. She also engages third parties to assault me and uses other people’s numbers to call me.

“Nyarai suspects that I am having an affair with her husband after she found my number in his phone.

“She tells my husband and neighbours that I am a prostitute.

“She even threatened to come to my workplace and tell them that I was a home-wrecker,” said Nyarai.

Lavender was not at the Harare Civil Court and magistrate Sharon Mashavira granted the peace order to Nyarai.

Failure to comply with the peace order will result in Lavender being charged with contempt of court.
